During the school year there is a preschool story hour at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Reading programs in the summer are 8 to 9 weeks long in June- August for preschool and school age. Variety of volunteers, six children computers and eight adult with w/two express. Craft program is Monday at 3:30 p.m. for k-5th grades. Thursday’s sleepy time is 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

Children’s afternoon program – Monday and Tuesday 3:30 p.m. for Elementary Students.

In Hermiston staff includes: Agronomy agent, plant pathologist agent, oleraculture agent (vegetables), riparian entomologist agent, aquatic entomologist agent, family and community development agent, master food preserver agent and master gardner volunteers.

Youth education program in a variety of subject areas including large and small livestock, home economics, creative arts, natural and mechanical sciences. 4-H Club opportunities, leadership development, community service, adult leadership skills. Members participate in club meetings and other activities, including summer camp, Speakeasy, Public Speaking, Field Days, and Morrow County Fair and County Horse Show. Adult volunteer leaders.
